We wish to advise we are now able to accept 291 one-off assessment referrals from GPs, who are comfortable continuing to care for their clients in the future. We had our training workshop for MBS 291 to enhance our understanding of this pathway and care provision. If you are a GP and would like to know more about this pathway, please register your interest with Marina at our clinic.
Alternatively, patients are welcome to make an appointment with our mental health-trained GP, Dr Karen Veary, to obtain a one-off assessment with Dr Guha. Dr Veary will subsequently apply for and manage prescribing schedule 8 medications. Please note Dr Veary will only manage ADHD aspects of care. Clients’ regular GPs will be able to continue to manage medical requirements for patients.
Unfortunately, Dr Guha is unable to assist with referrals for ongoing care at this stage. Dr Ramanan is accepting fresh referrals for clients from GPs through the contact details in his page.
rTMS referrals for Depression may be made to Dr Guha, if rTMS is being considered. Please note Dr Guha is unable to provide ongoing care post-rTMS. However, will be able to manage these clients while they are having rTMS at the NeuroXcell TMS clinic.
